Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Assemble various types of jewellery locks including GB locks, Spring locks, and Cuban locks with high accuracy. Understand technical drawings and fitting mechanisms. Perform post-casting cleaning, fitting, and alignment for lock mechanisms. Ensure smooth movement and proper functionality of lock components. Conduct visual and functional quality checks to ensure lock durability and finish. Collaborate with the design and production team to resolve fitting or alignment issues. Maintain tools and follow safety and quality control protocols. Assist in training junior karigars, if required. Requirements: 1015 years of hands-on experience in jewellery assembly, particularly in lock mechanisms . Strong understanding of casting processes and post-casting assembly work. Skilled in mechanical fittings for luxury gold jewellery. Ability to work with small components and tools under precision constraints. Familiarity with GB locks, Spring locks, Cuban locks , and other modern jewellery mechanisms. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Team player with a quality-first approach. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in export-quality jewellery manufacturing . Basic understanding of CAD design output (for interpreting lock positions). Prior work in branded jewellery manufacturing setups is a plus.
