As an experienced ASP.NET programmer at Instant Info Solutions, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Fluent with Classic ASP. - Knowledge and experience of MS SQL server 2000, 2005, 2008. - Skilled in database design, business analysis, requirements capturing and technical specification. - Experience with integrating web design with back-end coding. - Experience of building and maintaining content management systems. - Understanding of MVC beneficial. - Experience of PHP 5, MySQL and HTML5/ CSS beneficial. - Working knowledge of Umbraco, Joomla!, Drupal an advantage. - Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues. - A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices. - Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools. - Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation process. In addition to the key responsibilities, there are some additional requirements for this position: - Developing wireframe mockups to illustrate possible solutions. - CRM integration. - Developing new plugins for WordPress. - Working with offshore developers on specific project deliverables to assure scope, quality and timely delivery. - Developing documentation for complex systems. - Minimal content migration. - Capable of hitting daily deadlines. - Pleasant, personable demeanour (face-to-face, on the phone and via email). - Keen ability to multi-task; self-starter. - Open to Learning and a Teachable spirit.
