Job Description

As an experienced ASP.NET programmer at Instant Info Solutions, you will be responsible for the following: - Fluent with Classic ASP. - Knowledge and experience of MS SQL server 2000, 2005, 2008. - Skilled in database design, business analysis, requirements capturing and technical specification. - Experience with integrating web design with back-end coding. - Experience of building and maintaining content management systems. - Understanding of MVC beneficial. - Experience of PHP 5, MySQL and HTML5/CSS beneficial. - Working knowledge of Umbraco, Joomla!, Drupal an advantage. - Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues. - A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices. - Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools. - Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation process. Additionally, you will be expected to: - Develop wireframe mockups to illustrate possible solutions. - Integrate CRM systems. - Develop new plugins for WordPress. - Collaborate with offshore developers on specific project deliverables to assure scope, quality, and timely delivery. - Develop documentation for complex systems. - Perform minimal content migration. - Be capable of meeting daily deadlines. - Maintain a pleasant, personable demeanor in face-to-face, phone, and email communication. - Display a keen ability to multi-task and be a self-starter. - Possess an open mindset for learning and a teachable spirit.
