You will be joining our Quality Assurance team as a skilled QA Testing Engineer. Your main responsibility will be to develop and execute manual and automated test plans in order to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role demands strong technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and a detail-oriented mindset. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. You will be conducting various types of testing such as functional, integration, regression, system, smoke, and sanity testing across different platforms including web, API, and mobile. Additionally, you will be developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Identifying, logging, and tracking bugs in defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla will also be part of your role, along with collaborating with development, DevOps, and product teams to understand features, technical implementation, and business use cases. Participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews in an Agile/Scrum environment is essential. You will also ensure that test environments are properly set up and maintained, and generate detailed test reports and metrics for internal teams and management. In terms of technical skillset, you should be well-versed in manual testing (functional, UI/UX, smoke, sanity, exploratory), automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger), regression and re-testing, as well as cross-browser and responsive testing. Familiarity with various tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger, SoapUI, JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Git, Bitbucket, JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling is highly desirable. Basic querying and data validation using databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server is required. Soft skills that will be beneficial in this role include analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, clear communication skills (written and verbal), being a team player, proactive in issue resolution, ability to work independently, and handling pressure in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, and possess ISTQB or equivalent QA certification. Knowledge of BDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow), experience in Mobile App Testing (Android & iOS using Appium or manual), familiarity with cloud-based testing tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs, and awareness of security or accessibility testing would be advantageous.,
