ASIC Design Engineer

As a Design/SDC Engineer at Cisco Silicon One, your role involves overseeing fullchip SDCs and collaborating with physical design and DFT teams to achieve fullchip timing closure in multiple timing modes. You also have the option to engage in block-level RTL design or block or top-level IP integration. Your contributions focus on developing efficient methodologies for promoting block-level SDCs to fullchip and ensuring the correctness and quality of SDCs early in the design cycle. Additionally, you are responsible for reviewing block-level SDCs, creating fullchip clocking diagrams, and providing mentorship on SDC development to other RTL design owners. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee fullchip SDCs and collaborate with physical design and DFT teams for timing closure in multiple timing modes - Optionally engage in block-level RTL design or block/top-level IP integration - Develop methodologies for promoting block-level SDCs to fullchip and ensuring SDC correctness and quality early in the design cycle - Review block-level SDCs, create fullchip clocking diagrams, and mentor other RTL design owners on SDC development Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of ASIC or related experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of ASIC or related experience - Experience with block/full chip SDC development in functional and test modes - Proficiency in Static Timing Analysis and prior working experience with STA tools like PrimeTime/Tempus - Understanding of digital design concepts such as clocking and async boundaries - Experience with synthesis tools like Synopsys DC/DCG/FC and Verilog/System Verilog programming Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with constraint analyzer tools such as TCM (Timing Constraint Manager from Synopsys) and CCD (Conformal Constraint Designer from Cadence) - Familiarity with Spyglass CDC and glitch analysis - Knowledge of Formal Verification tools like Synopsys Formality and Cadence LEC - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL,
