Job Description

Role & responsibilities Proven 5+ years of experience providing Level 2 / Level 3 support for AS/400 systems. Strong system administration and troubleshooting skills in IBM AS/400 (iSeries). Hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and upgrading AS/400 operating systems and applications . Proficient in monitoring system performance , managing system resources (CPU, memory, disk), and implementing backups and disaster recovery procedures. Experience in OS security patching , implementing access controls , and ensuring data protection on AS/400 systems. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written mandatory . Preferred candidate profile Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain IBM AS/400 systems ensuring optimal performance and availability. Monitor, diagnose, and resolve system-related issues at L2/L3 level. Configure and manage system resources, user accounts, and security settings. Apply operating system patches, upgrades, and perform routine maintenance. Coordinate with teams for incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance. Ensure proper system documentation and adhere to change management processes. Work closely with stakeholders and communicate technical information effectively. Eligibility Criteria: Only candidates with MNC background (with verifiable documents and history) will be considered for WFH options. Strictly no L1 profiles. Subcontractor model only.
