Art Intern

As an Art Intern at 4AM Worldwide in Mumbai, you will be a creative and productive individual who contributes to concepts and hands-on production in collaboration with the creative team. Your role involves working on visual concepts for various mediums such as print, web, audiovisual, and other innovative platforms. Your passion for graphic design as a strategic communication tool will drive you to excel in areas like typography, illustration, design, and layout for effective visual communication. **Responsibilities:** - Explore and conceptualize design options and solutions. - Work on design and layout, including handwork, scribbles, design balancing, key subject highlighting, and color planning. - Focus on typography, including font selection, size selection, and text layout. - Utilize knowledge of visual communications, letterforms, art materials, drawing, and fabrication techniques while organizing designs. - Collaborate with photographers to ensure appropriate photo/images are taken. - Independently manage certain client projects when necessary. - Demonstrate attention to detail to deliver a flawless final output in the form of print-ready artwork or web-compatible jpegs. **Skills, Abilities, and Background:** - Bachelor's Degree in fine arts/Graphic Design from a leading Commercial Arts / Fine Arts Institute. - Strong artistic sense with a keen interest in design and layout. - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is a must. Additional knowledge of CorelDraw and Corel Painter would be beneficial. - Experience working on projects in both print (brochures, calendars, reports, mailers, etc.) and digital (websites, banners, etc.) mediums. - Ability to handle multiple projects, remain flexible through revisions, and maintain attention to detail.
