Art Intern

As an Art Intern at 4AM Worldwide in Mumbai, you will be a creative and prolific thinker and doer, contributing to concepts and hands-on production in collaboration with the creative team. Your passion for using graphic design as a strategic tool for communication will drive you towards achieving excellence in typography, illustration, design, and layout for effective visual communication across various mediums. **Responsibilities:** - Explore and conceptualize design options and solutions. - Work on design & layout, including initial handwork, scribbles, design balancing, key subject highlighting, and color planning. - Focus on typography, including font selection, size selection, and text layout. - Utilize knowledge of visual communications, letterforms, art materials, drawing, and fabrication techniques, while maintaining and organizing files or designs. - Collaborate with photographers and contribute to photography sessions to ensure the appropriate images are captured. - Independently manage certain client projects when required. - Demonstrate attention to detail to deliver a perfect final output in the form of print-ready artwork or web-compatible images. **Skills, Abilities, and Background:** - Bachelor's Degree in fine arts/Graphic Design from a leading Commercial Arts/Fine Arts Institute. - Good artistic sense with a keen interest in design and layout. - Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; additional knowledge of CorelDraw and Corel Painter would be beneficial. - Experience working on projects in print (brochures, calendars, reports, mailers, etc.) and digital (websites, banners, etc.) mediums. - Ability to work on multiple projects, remain flexible through revisions, and maintain attention to detail. - **PRE-REQUISITES:** A good, well-drafted portfolio for preliminary assessment.
