Area Sales Manager(Stationary Industry)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) with proven experience in the stationery or office supplies industry. The role involves managing sales operations, distributor networks, and retail/channel partners within the assigned territory to achieve business growth and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and drive sales performance in the assigned territory for stationery products (e.g., pens, notebooks, files, art supplies, paper products, etc.).
• Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, dealers, and retailers to ensure strong market penetration.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet volume, revenue, and distribution objectives.
• Ensure product visibility and availability across trade channels (retail, institutional, modern trade, and B2B).
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional trends.
• Manage secondary sales and track distributor stock levels to ensure healthy inventory turnover.
• Support marketing and promotional activities such as product launches, in-store branding, and school/institutional campaigns.
• Train and motivate the field sales team (Sales Officers/Executives) to achieve sales targets.
• Submit timely sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management.
• Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and institutional buyers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
