POSITION DETAILS POSITION TITLE Area Sales Manager NAME FUNCTION Sales and Distribution REPORTS TO Zonal Sales Manager POSITION PURPOSE This role exists to lead a team of Sales Executives and motivate them to deliver on their sales objectives; to deploy and monitor execution of promotions and other market initiatives WITHIN the Sales Strategy of the company WITH THE OBJECTIVE of driving volume, value and market share objectives in the assigned area through increasing distribution coverage and execution of various initiatives planned POSITION SIZE FINANCIAL / OPERATIONAL NON-FINANCIAL Territory – Area No of dealers – 10 -12 Sales volume - DIRECT REPORTEES 2- 4 INDIRECT REPORTEES 0 POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education Graduate – Any stream Experience 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG area, preferably from the footwear industry NETWORK WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION  Sales Executive  Zonal Manager  Regional Sales Manager  Head Sales  Distribution executive OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION Dealers – own  Dealers – competition
