Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Eastern India (FMCG - Pulses, Rice, Dry Fruits, etc.) – Brand: Fresh Earth

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Eastern India.

Position Overview: As the Area Sales Manager for Eastern India, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding market presence for the Fresh Earth brand in the region. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a team of sales professionals, and fostering strong relationships with distributors and retailers.

Location: Eastern India (Preference for candidates based in Kolkata or nearby cities)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow sales for Earth Fresh FMCG products in the assigned territory
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with modern trade outlets, especially Spencer’s
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and in-store execution
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Appoint, guide, and manage distributors and sales teams
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and pricing
• Coordinate with internal teams for promotions, schemes, and stock planning
• Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager / Sales Executive in FMCG
• Mandatory experience handling brands listed with Spencer’s
• Strong understanding of modern trade & general trade operations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area
• Minimum Graduate qualification preferred
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
