: Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Punjab

We are a leading and trusted name in the confectionery industry, known for our quality products and strong market presence. As we continue to grow across regions, we are looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead our operations and drive business growth in Punjab.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned territory in Punjab, with a strong focus on retail execution.
• Lead and manage a network of super stockists and distributors, ensuring efficient supply chain operations and market penetration.
• Implement push marketing strategies to achieve aggressive sales targets and expand product visibility across the retail channel.
• Monitor and enhance performance at the outlet level through regular market visits, team reviews, and effective territory planning.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Officers and field staff to ensure proper market coverage and productivity.
• Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of competition and identify new growth opportunities.
• Ensure the proper execution of trade schemes, product placements, and visibility drives across general trade outlets.

Candidate Requirements:

• Based in Chandigarh/Jalandhar, with willingness to travel extensively across Punjab.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in the confectionery segment.
• Proven track record in push marketing and achieving consistent sales growth.
• Assertive and aggressive in sales approach, with strong leadership and team management skills.
• Hands-on experience in handling the retail business, including direct interaction with retailers, distributors, and super stockists.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and take action accordingly.

Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred)

Remuneration: Competitive salary with performance-linked incentives and allowances as per industry standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹61,626.10 per month
