VMC Setter cum Operator

Full Job Description: Job Title: VMC Machine Operator/Setter Experienced Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) and CNCmachines and be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery to produce high-quality components. You will work with technical drawings and specifications to ensure precision and quality in the finished product. Key Responsibilities:  Machine Operation: o Set up and operate CNC/VMC machines as per production requirements.  Program Execution: o Load and execute pre-written CNC programs and make minor adjustments if necessary. o Utilize knowledge of G-code programming and CNC control systems to execute machine operations.  Tooling Setup: o Install and adjust tools, cutters, and fixtures to ensure proper machining operations. o Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to prepare the correct machine setup and tooling.  Quality Inspection: o Conduct measurements using micrometres, callipers, and gauges to verify part dimensions and record dimensions in In process Inspection Reports.  Troubleshooting: o Identify and resolve machine malfunctions, tool wear, and production defects.  Maintenance: o Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean.  Production Efficiency: o Ensure production targets are met with minimal waste and high-quality output.  Documentation: o Maintain logs of machine settings, output, and quality reports.  Safety Compliance: o Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a secure work environment. Qualifications & Skills: Educational Qualification: ITI/Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or related field.  Experience: 3 to 6 Years Experience in CNC/VMC machine operations.
