Mehta Tea Pvt. Ltd. is a leading tea company based in Indore, committed to delivering premium quality tea across India. We are expanding in Chhattisgarh and are seeking a capable Area Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations in the Raipur region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle primary & secondary sales in the assigned territory.
• Appoint and manage tea distributors and ensure healthy ROI.
• Drive retail penetration and expand market share in general trade.
• Lead a team of Sales Officers, DSRs, and Promoters to ensure effective market coverage.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
• Develop strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and stockists.
• Conduct market visits, review beat plans, and ensure proper implementation.
• Monitor competitor activities (especially in tea brands) and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Ensure proper product visibility, availability, and scheme execution.
• Regularly submit market intelligence and reports to the management.

Candidate Requirements:

• Graduate in any stream (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in tea sales (must have worked with a tea brand).
• Strong knowledge of Raipur & surrounding markets.
• Hands-on experience in distributor management, retail development, and sales team leadership.
• Good communication, team handling, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, sales reporting, and territory planning.
