Area Sales Manager-Affordable Home Loans (MBL)

You will be responsible for scaling up the Affordable Home loan business for the Micro Business Loan branches in a designated area. Your main focus will be on delivering banking services to customers in a cost-efficient and technology-effective manner, collaborating closely with various teams within the organization such as Retail, product operations, sales, Information technology, credit, collection, and business intelligence unit. Your ultimate goal will be to provide a seamless customer experience and establish IDFC First as the primary bank for all banking needs. Key Responsibilities: - Acquire Home loan customers in the identified segment and generate references from the specified catchment area. - Increase the asset under management base for home loan lending solutions and ensure meeting revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets. - Collaborate with the product team to offer customers the best funding solutions and ensure appropriate incentives for the direct sales team. - Plan and target manpower for the region, including recruitment and training of Branch Sales Managers/BCM/BOM. - Meet monthly disbursement targets. Secondary Responsibilities: - Achieve business targets, including Fee income and cross-selling. - Monitor and mentor the team, establish career paths for team members. - Keep track of competition, report new products/market developments. - Manage early Mob X bucket collection and overall portfolio management. - Ensure internal and external audit compliance. Managerial Responsibilities: - Identify high-potential business areas/Sourcing segments and execute penetration strategies. - Track and enhance branch profitability and portfolio quality.
