TRADE TEAM

GTS-Trade Sales is the Product specialist team that provides transaction banking solutions & expertise to segments - Consumer Bank, Commercial Bank and Wholesale Bank.

GTS-Trade Sales is a relationship team that caters to customers of Wholesale banking focusing on providing Transaction Banking solutions on Trade /Supply chain.

JOB ROLE

The key responsibilities of the role will be as follows:

  • Area Manager for GTS Products -Trade /supplychain for wholesale banking clients, managing team and also to have deep understanding on the RBI regulations on current account and capital account transactions with experience in handing products like - Export Credit, Supply Chain finance, LC, BG, BC.
  • Responsible to drive the team for achieving the budget allocated to the region/PSM by managing positive balance sheet, P & L of the GTS Trade products and ensure that the business teams allocate adequate limits for GTS products and these limits are utilized, resulting in positive income generation.
  • Responsible for driving the team and achieving the product drivers such as average asset on trade products,, fees from trade, digitization and throughput on cross border transactions along with the team/region achieving such drivers as per the budget

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Postgraduate: MBA /CA
  • 10 to 12 years of experience in trade finance
  • Understanding of RBI guidelines/FEMA/UCPDC/URR/URC/ISBP for trade finance.
  • Skills required:
    • Managing Client Experience for large and conglomerate relationship
    • Have deep understanding on the RBI regulations on current account and capital account transactions with experience in handing products like - Export Credit, Supply Chain finance, LC, BG, BC.
    • Liability Product Knowledge for Product Penetration
    • Understanding of Market and customer segment, which should help in getting new clients from the market and get the team to convert these names and also identify portfolio clients for new products.
  • Experience in operations and sales preferred along with team handling experience.
