Area Credit Manager - CV

As a Credit Underwriting Manager, your primary responsibility will be to underwrite credit appraisal and disbursement of CV loan proposals. You will be tasked with monitoring and tracking adverse new events in the portfolio of the assigned area. Additionally, you will conduct credit appraisal and sanctioning of CV loan proposals. A key aspect of your role will be to manage a team of Credit Managers and oversee business monitoring. You will also be required to analyze and resolve delinquency issues, collaborating closely with the Sales team. Evaluating Higher Value cases and facilitating their approval process will also be part of your duties. Conducting personal discussions and monthly market visits to financiers, dealers, and other relevant stakeholders will be essential. You will be responsible for quantitative and qualitative analysis of loan requests and lines of credit. Ensuring branch delinquency/PDD levels are within acceptable benchmarks and taking corrective actions when necessary will fall under your purview. Furthermore, you will be accountable for audit and regulatory compliance within the assigned area. Your role will involve effectively assessing credit risk and evaluating client viability. Training and coordinating with your team to ensure timely and efficient processes will be crucial to your success. Key responsibilities will include maintaining the corporate credit policy in alignment with the parameters established in the Product Policy. You will also be expected to focus on effective cost management and managing a healthy portfolio.,
