Area Credit Manager-Commercial Vehicle-Credit Appraisal-Jamshedpur

As an Underwriter for corporate finance business in the assigned area, you will be responsible for managing the portfolio and supporting the business teams in the end-to-end credit approval process for the designated region. This includes underwriting cases, presenting them to senior management, and authorizing deviations raised by underwriters while ensuring compliance with credit policy. Your role will involve finalizing the review of credit memos, prepared by underwriters, and making approval or decline sign-offs on every file after verifying documentation requests. You will also be responsible for approving all disbursement requests based on adherence to agreement value requirements and complete documentation at the branch level. Monitoring and overseeing Personal Discussion Document (PDD) management, ensuring timely completion through customer visits for high-value cases, will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to coordinate with external vendors such as Financial Institutions, Legal, and Technical valuation teams to resolve queries promptly and eliminate any delays not related to the process. Leading a team of credit approvers to maintain portfolio quality and manage delinquencies effectively will be part of your role. You will also be involved in developing, implementing, reviewing, and monitoring various credit programs, providing training and coaching to enhance the team's competency and improve processing efficiency. Ensuring due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting, and loan sanctioning is vital. You will be required to customize underwriting norms based on local market needs and continuously enhance and execute consumer credit risk strategies. The ideal candidate for this position should have an MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or an equivalent qualification.,
