Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Architect to join our design and construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive design, planning, and oversight of civil and structural projects, ensuring they are functional, safe, aesthetically pleasing, and in compliance with all building codes and regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural principles, civil engineering, and construction processes. You will collaborate with engineers, urban planners, Govt. Personals, contractors, and clients to bring projects from conceptual design to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare architectural and structural designs, blueprints, schematics, Cost estimation and construction documents for civil projects such as buildings, Stadium, Planetarium, Roads, and other infrastructure, conceptual designs based on client visions.
• Adapt designs to meet the specific requirements of the construction location, including its structural features and building styles.
• Manage projects from conception through to completion, including overseeing budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Ensure all designs and construction plans comply with local, state, and national building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations. Obtain the necessary permits and approvals to adhere to various construction laws, including fire regulations and building codes.
• Work closely with civil engineers to integrate structural and civil design elements. Coordinate with urban planners, landscape architects, and contractors to ensure a cohesive and well-executed project.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and address any on-site issues that may arise.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
• Select appropriate building materials and technologies, considering factors like durability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact.

Other responsibilities

• Assess the limitations and potential of a site or building to ensure project feasibility.
• Create a convenient and cost-effective budget with clear financial targets for the project.
• Evaluate and recommend different site or building choices based on project requirements along with their analysis report.( New tender analysis report as well.)
• Develop and maintain a clear procedural plan to streamline communication and keep all stakeholders informed throughout the project.
• Maintain working relationship by interpreting the design, supervising progress of the work, and ensuring the design is being executed well. This role of an Architect involves working hand-in-hand with plumbers, electricians, engineers and other experts to enable them to do the right job.
• MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE, THIS JOB OF ARCHITECTS PLAY A SUPERVISORY ROLE IN THE OVERALL CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROJECT. SINCE IT IS THEIR DESIGN, THEY KNOW WHAT EXACTLY IS REQUIRED, WHAT CAN GO WRONG AND HOW TO RECTIFY IT.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in architectural design and civil construction projects.
• Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and ArchiCAD.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and structural design.
• Familiarity with project management software and practices.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sustainable design and green building practices (e.g., LEED, certification).
• Knowledge of advanced structural analysis software.
• Experience with a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, and public infrastructure.
