Job Description

Role Overview: The Architecture App Support Analyst is a strategic professional who evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact. You will need good analytical skills to prioritize and validate potentially complex material. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required as you regularly assume informal/formal leadership roles within teams and provide advice related to technology or operations. Your work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Key Responsibilities: - Develop technology road maps and recommend business directions based on emerging technologies. - Translate complex business problems into sound technical solutions. - Provide integrated systems planning and recommend innovative technologies to enhance the current system. - Identify ways to maximize the potential of applications used. - Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to business and technology management. - Guide, influence, and persuade others with communication and diplomacy skills. - Participate in application releases, from development to deployment into production. - Engage in post-implementation analysis to ensure successful system design and functionality. - Consider implications of technology application to the current environment, identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues. - Ensure essential procedures are followed, define operating standards and processes. - Act as a liaison between users/traders, internal technology groups, and vendors. - Act as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members. - Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, driving compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications: - 5-8 years relevant experience. - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. - Advanced execution capabilities with the ability to adjust quickly to changes. - Management and prioritization skills. - Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple activities. - Good technical skills, self-starter with the ability to master new tasks quickly. - Methodical with attention to detail, ability to plan and organize workload.
