Architectural/Interior/Urban Design Intern

You will be joining The Architectural Studio in Delhi, a forward-thinking architecture firm dedicated to delivering innovative, sustainable, and contemporary design solutions. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in Design Development: Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to create design concepts, develop architectural drawings, and produce 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. - Drafting and Documentation: Prepare accurate architectural drawings, blueprints, and construction documents based on project specifications and design briefs. - Project Collaboration: Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to translate client needs into functional design solutions. - Site Visits and Inspections: Accompany senior architects on site visits to observe construction progress, ensure design implementation, and resolve on-site issues. - Research and Analysis: Conduct research on building codes, zoning laws, materials, and environmental factors to support the design process. - Rendering: Assist in creating renderings and presentation materials for client meetings. - Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local building regulations, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines. - Learning and Development: Stay updated on architectural trends, tools, and software while actively seeking opportunities to enhance your skills. **Qualifications:** - Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution. - Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). - Design Skills: Strong foundation in architectural design principles, spatial understanding, and attention to detail. - Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team. - Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems. - Creativity and Problem Solving: Ability to think creatively and propose innovative design solutions within practical constraints. - Time Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating design projects and technical skills (to be submitted with your application). **Preferred Qualifications:** - Internship Experience: Prior internship or work experience in an architecture firm or related field is beneficial. - Sustainability Knowledge: Understanding of sustainable design principles. - Project Management Interest: Basic understanding of project management principles or interest in developing project management skills. - Construction Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction techniques, materials, and structural systems. - 3D Visualization Skills: Proficiency in rendering software like V-Ray, Lumion, or Enscape for creating photorealistic images and visualizations.
