Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed
architectural drawings, GFC drawings, and shop drawings
as per project requirements.
Interpret and draft plans based on
architectural concepts, designs, and specifications
.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and project managers to incorporate design changes.
Maintain and update
drawing registers, revision logs, and documentation
for project records.
Ensure drawings adhere to
building codes, bye-laws, and statutory requirements
.
Assist in preparing drawings for
municipal approvals, submission sets, and sanction plans
.
Conduct
site visits
to understand practical execution and incorporate changes into drawings as required.
Deliver drawings as per
project schedules and deadlines
, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
Stay updated with the latest
drafting standards, software tools, and design guidelines
.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in
Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Draftsmanship
.
4+ years of experience
as an Architectural Draftsman, preferably in a
builders office or real estate company
.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
; knowledge of
Revit or BIM
will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of
architectural detailing, building codes, and construction practices
.
Good communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple drawings and project deliverables efficiently.
