Position Description
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect with deep expertise in TM Forum Open APIs (TMF APIs) and a strong background in telecommunications system architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, architecting, and guiding the development of solutions aligned with TM Forum standards to enable interoperability, scalability, and seamless integration across OSS/BSS ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

. Architectural Design & Strategy Design end-to-end application and integration architectures leveraging TMF Open APIs (e.g., TMF620 Product Catalog, TMF622 Product Ordering, TMF629 Customer Management, TMF632 Party Management, TMF633 Service Inventory, TMF640 Service Activation, etc.). Define the overall system architecture ensuring alignment with TM Forum Open Digital Architecture (ODA) principles. Evaluate existing architectures and recommend modernization and API-led integration approaches.
. Hands-on Design & Implementation Lead the design and implementation of TMF APIbased applications and microservices. Develop detailed API specifications, interface contracts, and integration patterns using RESTful design principles. Ensure compliance with TM Forum standards and best practices in API development and lifecycle management. . Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with business analysts, solution designers, and developers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams. Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure TMF-compliant integrations across the telecom ecosystem. . Governance & Quality Define and enforce API governance, versioning, and security policies. Perform architecture reviews and ensure technical documentation and design artifacts are maintained. Drive performance optimization, scalability, and reliability improvements across systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

. Core Expertise: Strong experience designing and implementing solutions using TM Forum Open APIs. In-depth knowledge of TM Forum ODA (Open Digital Architecture) and Open API Framework. Proven experience integrating OSS/BSS systems (e.g., CRM, Order Management, Product Catalog, Service Activation, Inventory, Billing).
. Technical Skills: Proficiency in RESTful API design, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications. Experience with microservices architecture, API gateways, and cloud-native deployment models. Strong understanding of telecom business domains such as Product, Customer, Service, and Resource management. Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, or equivalent backend frameworks. Experience with integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee, WSO2) is a plus. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps tools. . Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to lead technical discussions and drive consensus among cross-functional teams.
