We are on the lookout for a proficient architectural engineer to provide innovation-based solutions to infrastructural projects. With a sound understanding of design and building planning, the candidate in question must be equally gifted in art on one hand, and mathematical and scientific principles on the other. The architectural engineer role is one that warrants a keen eye for detail, to identify design flaws, without compromising on the integrity of the structure. Being detail-oriented and a natural problem-solver goes a long way in finding a solid footing in this industry while acing the job as an architectural engineer. Objectives of the role ·        Devise building plans and designs for various categories under the umbrella of infrastructure ·        Ensure safety, functionality, and visual appeal while crafting plans for a building ·        Adhere to local and national building codes and regulations, while keeping in mind applicable laws that affect the work of an architectural engineer ·        Look at the bigger picture or the purpose of the client/customer and ensure that the construction is in tune with the client's goals ·        Outline project goals, budgets and timelines while working on a project Responsibilities ·        Hands-on involvement in the planning, designing and implementation of a project ·        Create plans using CAD (computer-aided design) software ·        Strictly adhere to building codes, legal regulations and ethical standards while working on architectural and systems engineering projects ·        Collaborate with clients and stakeholders regarding their visions and goals of the projects and give them timely updates on the present status ·        Liaison with engineers, contractors, interior designers and other professionals to ensure that the necessary processes are followed ·        Read, interpret and communicate the contents of complicated technical documents to the rest of the team ·        Perform periodic site visits and ensure safety and reliability within the same Required skills and qualifications ·        Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field ·        Prior experience working as an architectural engineer or in a similar role ·        Expert-level knowledge of CAD software ·        Experience in working with clients to devise safe, reliable and visually appealing plans ·        Ability to work as a team or individually within a strict deadline Preferred skills and qualifications ·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or a related discipline ·        Sound knowledge in 3D modelling software ·        Outstanding written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills
