About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented, and creatively strong Architect with 5 or more years of hands-on experience in design development, project coordination, architectural detailing, and site execution. This position requires someone who can independently manage entire project cycles from conceptual design and technical drawings to on-site supervision and client coordination.

The ideal candidate should blend design excellence with practical execution knowledge and be confident in delivering high-quality architectural output.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design and Conceptualization:

- Develop innovative and functional design concepts aligned with client requirements.

- Prepare conceptual plans, 2D layouts, elevations, 3D views, and presentation drawings.

- Suggest creative solutions while balancing aesthetics, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness.

2. Detailed Drawings and Technical Documentation:

- Prepare complete working drawings, construction drawings, and detailed sections.

- Develop joinery, finishing, and structural coordination details with precision.

- Maintain high drawing accuracy and ensure all documentation is complete.

3. Consultant and Stakeholder Coordination:

- Coordinate effectively with structural, MEP, interior, and landscape consultants.

- Review consultant drawings and ensure alignment with the architectural intent.

- Communicate with clients, vendors, and contractors for approvals and updates.

4. Site Supervision and Execution Monitoring:

- Conduct regular site visits to verify work progress and quality.

- Ensure construction is executed exactly as per approved drawings and specifications.

- Identify discrepancies and work closely with site teams to resolve issues.

5. Material Selection and Specifications:

- Recommend appropriate materials, finishes, and design elements.

- Coordinate with vendors for sourcing, samples, and technical information.

- Assist in preparing BOQs, material schedules, and product specifications.

6. Compliance and Building Regulations:

- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and regulatory requirements.

- Prepare documentation for statutory approvals when needed.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NBC guidelines and local bye-laws.

7. Project Management and Reporting:

- Manage project timelines, drawing release schedules, and deliverables.

- Maintain drawing logs, revision history, and coordination records.

- Ensure smooth workflow between design, consultants, and site teams.

Qualifications and Education:

- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institute.

- Master's in Architecture (M.Arch) is preferred but not mandatory.

- COA registration is highly preferred.

Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of core architectural experience.

- Must have completed at least 2 to 3 projects from design to execution.

- Strong exposure to residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.

Technical Skills Required:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, or equivalent design tools.

- Strong command over architectural detailing, construction techniques, and material knowledge.

- Skilled in preparing and reading architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

- Knowledge of building standards, NBC norms, and local regulations.

Soft Skills and Professional Traits:

- Strong communication and client-handling skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- Leadership skills to guide junior architects or interns is an advantage.
