Architect (Mobile Device Management)

As an Enterprise Architect focusing on the development of Mobile Device Management (MDM) product at our company, your role will involve a strategic architectural leadership combined with hands-on technical execution. You will define the technical vision and roadmap for our product while actively contributing to its development, with a specific emphasis on the Go programming language. **Core Competencies Technical:** - Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar senior technical leadership role within a software product company. - Strong hands-on experience in backend software development, with a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Go (Golang). - Expertise in designing and building scalable, distributed systems, microservices, and APIs. - Deep understanding of MDM principles and related technologies covering various devices like Android, iPadOS, tvOS, macOS, Windows, Chrome OS, and iOS. - Familiarity with smart wearable device ecosystems, communication protocols, and data handling. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. - Solid grasp of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL. **Non-technical:** - Excellent communication skills - Good team player - Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and influencing technical direction. - Experience with cryptography and secure coding practices is highly desirable. - Ready to work across multiple time zones. **Roles & Responsibilities:** 1. **Architectural Strategy & Design:** Define and own the technical architecture and roadmap for the MDM product, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. 2. **Hands-on Development:** Actively contribute to the codebase by writing high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code in Go, focusing on core backend services, APIs, and microservices. 3. **Technical Leadership:** Serve as a subject matter expert and technical mentor for the engineering team, leading technical discussions, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices. 4. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with product management, engineering teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs. 5. **Innovation & Research:** Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, proposing new technologies to enhance our product. 6. **Customer Implementation & Success:** Act as a senior technical advisor for key customer implementations globally, addressing complex architectural challenges during product deployment. **Implementation Strategy:** - Provide guidance on best practices for deploying the MDM product in various customer environments. **Troubleshooting:** - Serve as a top-tier escalation point for complex technical issues during customer rollouts, providing deep architectural insight to resolve problems. **Feedback Loop:** - Gather direct feedback from customers regarding implementation challenges and product pain points, translating them into actionable items for the product and engineering teams to influence the product roadmap for long-term customer success.,
