Maldives – Resort Construction Project

Position Overview

The Architect will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering architectural solutions for a luxury resort project in the Maldives. The role requires strong expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and AutoCAD to ensure high-quality design, efficient project coordination, and compliance with sustainability and hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development

Prepare architectural drawings, models, and design concepts using BIM and AutoCAD.

Develop resort layouts, guest villas, public spaces, and service facilities with a focus on functionality and aesthetics.

• Coordination

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, interior designers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained.

Integrate architectural designs with structural, MEP, and landscape disciplines through BIM coordination.

• Compliance & Standards

Ensure designs comply with Maldives building codes, environmental regulations, and resort-specific requirements.

Incorporate sustainable design principles to minimize environmental impact.

• Documentation

Produce detailed construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Maintain accurate records of design revisions and approvals.

• Innovation

Utilize BIM for clash detection, 3D visualization, and project lifecycle management.

Explore creative design solutions that enhance guest experience while respecting local culture and environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Professional license/registration preferred.
• 5–8 years of architectural experience, with at least 3 years in resort, hospitality, or island-based projects.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD) and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of sustainable design and eco-tourism principles is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
