Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Conduct periodic inspections of archaeological monuments and sites.

Assess conservation needs and develop conservation plans aligned with national policies.

Prepare detailed reports on site conditions and interventions.

Develop framework estimates and financial plans for conservation projects.

Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with national conservation policies.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 15 years of experience in conservation of nationally or state-protected monuments and sites

Proven experience in handling conservation projects in Eastern and North-Eastern India

Retired Superintending Archaeological Engineer or Deputy Superintending Archaeological Engineer from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI),

OR

Degree in Civil Engineering or Master's in Conservation Studies from a recognized university
