Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Aquaculture Specialist, located in Pattukkottai. The Aquaculture Specialist will be responsible for overseeing shrimp culture operations, including monitoring water quality, managing feed, and evaluating shrimp health. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting research, implementing best practices in shrimp farming, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. The Aquaculture Specialist will also collaborate with the research team to develop and test new aquaculture methods and technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, or a related field
• Experience in shrimp farming, including water quality management and feed management
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Knowledge of best practices in aquaculture and environmental regulations
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications in aquaculture are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, or a related field
