Apps Development Group Manager

As an Engineering Lead at our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing technical leadership and strategic direction to shape the future of our software engineering efforts. Your responsibilities will include: - Working with a wide variety of Citi teams to drive towards everything-as-code and adoption of Developer Engineering tooling and capabilities - Collaborating with product and engineering teams to design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable web applications and services - Being hands-on with coding and software design to ensure adherence to high-quality standards and best practices - Mentoring and nurturing other engineers to help them grow their skills and expertise - Supporting and driving cultural change, including instigating critical thinking about controls and processes and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement As an individual contributor at the C14 level, you should possess the following characteristics: - Ability to identify and solve problems effectively - Standard tech skills including Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift - Architecture and design experience - Experience working in a large enterprise environment - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills The ideal candidate for this role should have: - Proven experience as an Engineering Lead, Software Engineering Manager, or similar role in fast-paced environments - Strong expertise in multiple programming languages such as Angular, Java/SpringBoot, microservices, messaging (kafka), and databases (SQL and NoSQL) - Experience with Python is a plus - Proven experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, container-based microservices, distributed logs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and DevSecOps - Experience working in a product-focused team is beneficial If you have a disability and require accommodation to use our search tools or apply for a career opportunity, please review Accessibility at Citi.,
