Job Description

Who we are looking for

Seeking an IT professional to provide production support for Finance applications. The ideal candidate would be involved in supporting day-to-day technical support and operations ensuring effective turn around on production issues across Finance applications. This role requires a combination of technical skills and financial domain knowledge, with a focus on supporting and troubleshooting finance systems.

What you will be responsible for

Learn Finance applications and the tools to provide support for resolving application issues.
Take ownership of user requests and perform tasks.
Monitor applications for identifying issues.
Co-ordinate with colleagues and stakeholders to help resolve issues.
Participate in Major Incident calls, help resolving incidents.
Identify opportunities to make applications better by automations and other service improvement activities
Extracting data for audit requests.
Crafting SOPs and training materials

What we value / Skills Required

These skills will help you succeed in this role

Good knowledge on SQL, including writing and debugging queries and stored procedures.
Basic Unix knowledge
Basic Java knowledge
ITIL practices (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management)
Basic idea on job scheduling tool like Autosys
IT Production Support
Excellent communications skills
Strong critical, Innovative thinking and analytical skills; results driven with ability to solve problems
Basic understanding of financial products including Invoices, Accruals, Fees is a plus.
Proficiency to establish priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast paced environment.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Graduate from a recognized Institute with BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent.
Technical Certifications will be an advantage.
