Apprentice- Procurement trainee

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Learn the fundamentals of procurement systems, tools, and processes through hands-on experience and mentorship.
• Assist in tracking COE related requests and actions
• Assist in any documentations needs
• Support any data entry and reporting tasks
• Coordinate team meetings, workshops, and internal events including scheduling, logistics, and follow-ups.
• Help prepare agendas, minutes, and action trackers for team meetings.
• Assist in organizing team-building activities and recognition programs.
• Help prepare materials for procurement training sessions and awareness programs.
• Assist in coordinating requests for vendor creation and updates.
• Learn how to use procurement platforms such as Coupa.
• Support in identifying and resolving basic procurement issues.
• Contribute to small projects focused on improving procurement efficiency and governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand how procurement supports broader business goals.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (or final year student) in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong interest in procurement, operations, or supply chain.
• Basic understanding of business processes and data handling.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
