Subfamily Description
Software (SWA) comprises the definition, specification, and allocation of requirements from different sources utilising knowledge of systems engineering processes (specification & architecture). Contains processing of use case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional description. Covers specification, design, implementation, and unit testing of Software (e.g. device drivers, microcode, hardware-related software & firmware) according to the requirements and architecture defined in the systems engineering process. Covers establishment and maintenance of Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices into software development projects, continuously building and integrating infrastructure tools and systems. - Bachelors/Master Degree in Computer Science, electronics and communication, Telecommunication, or equivalent areas.
- Strong Development experience, as well as a solid understanding of the product lifecycle process including agile methodologies.
- Experience in embedded software development, real time Multi-Processor, Multithread Development Environment
- programming languages: C, C++ including design patterns ,Python/Shell is must. Strong understanding on Memory management.
- Well understanding of OO design, Clean Code
- strong understanding on Linux , IPC techniques, user space and kernel space deep understanding and good understanding on network architecture is preferred
- Experienced in management application development based on TR369 (USP) , TR069, OMCI, OAM, GPON and Web is preferred
- Experienced in telecom product development such as IMS/VOIP (SIP, H.248), TCP/IP, VoLTE , VONR, SIPoTLS, DHCP, ARP, IPSEC, DNS including redundancy and End to End understanding on VoIP packet flow
- Well versed with debugging tools like SIPP, Wireshark, Valgrid, SIPP Tool, Valgrind Memory Profiling Tool, GDB.
- understanding different SoC Architecture including 32 bit, 64bit and respective tool chains and able to collaborate with different Vendors to make the solution up and running.

- Retains technical and design knowledge for assigned products and technologies and provides training to the lower support teams (Tier 2 and Tier 3).
- Applies and maintains quality standards. Participates in process and tools evolutions and improvements.
- Applies the SW Care process (especially emergency case handling) contributing when needed to the fastest problem restoration.
