Applied R&D Engineer 3 - SW

MN S&D SC AIO team is looking for an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about solving problems in building next generation of Cloud native software on the K8S platform using scalable micro services Architecture.

As part of our team, you will:

• be designing and building cloud native EMS software and applications
• be working on new EMS features and support of existing releases and functionality
• be working with System engineers and architects for review of new product requirements
• be innovating and coming up with ideas to solve critical customer issues.
• be working with other Nokia NE teams for managing software dependencies
• be working closely with customer support teams in resolving all customer issues proactively

• Hands on Experience working with Java and Spring Boot, REST APIs for designing scaleable microservices
• Experience designing and building Cloud native scaleable backend micro services
• Strong Programming experience with core JAVA 8 and XML data parsing is a must have
• Experience of CI/CD ,Git and Gerrit is must
• Knowledge of Python and Camunda workflow engine is preferable
• Knowledge of Redis cache and RabbitMQ messaging will be an advantage
• Innovation and problem solving mindset is must have
• Overall experience of the Cloud EMS domain
• Knowledge of ORAN SMO architecture will be an advantage
• Working knowledge of CPRO and Grafana will be a plus

It would be nice if you also had:

• Knowledge of basic wireless domain and associated technologies
• Knowledge of MariaDB

• Knowledge & Experience

  Typically 3-6 years directly related experience and a graduate equivalent degree.
