Role Responsibilities

• Design and implement cryptographic primitives and secure protocols for AI systems.
• Review code for cryptographic misuse, side-channel vulnerabilities, and entropy flaws.
• Guide secure key management, PKI, and certificate handling practices.
• Integrate cryptography into production-grade AI systems, balancing performance and security.
• Work with engineers to ensure end-to-end encryption and secure communication.
• Document cryptographic workflows and establish best practices for the team.

Requirements

• Background in computer science, mathematics, information security, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python, C, or Rust, with hands-on experience in secure systems programming.
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic primitives and protocols (e.g., AES, RSA, ECDH, TLS).
• Experience with OpenSSL/LibreSSL, libsodium, and PKI infrastructure.
• Familiarity with HSMs, secure key storage, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Ability to identify and mitigate side-channel vulnerabilities and entropy issues.
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously with flexible hours.
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
