As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the AI/ML & Data Platform team, you will be a key member of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively. You will create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Key Responsibilities: - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches - Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms in sync with systems - Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from diverse data sets for continuous improvement - Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new technologies - Foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Qualification Required: - Formal training or certification in AI/ML concepts with at least 3 years of applied experience - Hands-on experience in programming languages, particularly Python - Ability to apply data science and machine learning techniques to address business challenges - Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) - Expertise in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow and advanced applied ML areas - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, attention to detail, and follow-through - Excellent communication skills, team player, and demonstrated leadership in collaborating effectively Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure to Ray, MLFlow, and/or other distributed training frameworks - MS and/or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field - Understanding of Search/Ranking, Recommender systems, Graph techniques, and other advanced methodologies - Familiarity with Reinforcement Learning or Meta Learning - Understanding of Large Language Model (LLM) techniques and experience in building and deploying ML models on cloud platforms like AWS Please note that the company may have additional details not included in the provided job description.
