Applications Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Involve in the functional test program development for the projects
• Study and analysis of schematics and documents
• Documentation of the testing processes viz.,

• SRS: Software Requirement Specifications
• SDD: Software Design Description
• STP: Software Test Plan

• Writing programs for testing boards
• Coding using three software platforms viz., NI Labview, CVI, Test Stand
• Debugging test programs offline, online and providing remote technical support.
• Designing and debugging of ITA (Interface Test Adapter) and fixture
• Demonstrating the program to the customer
• Fault application and isolation
• Developing test programs for ITA self-test.
• Supporting during the identification and integration of the instruments into the S500 system
• Play a key role in ensuring quality of the programs
• Any other duties assigned as per the project requirement
• Provide customer support for the hardware and software related issues
• Provide support for export projects on need basis
• Should be flexible to work across India and abroad.

Desired profile of the candidate

• C Language
• Assembly language
• Circuit simulation
• Understanding of digital and analog circuits
• Knowledge of instruments, IEEE commands
• Knowledge of electronic equipments.
• Knowledge on NI Labview, CVI and TestStand will be added advantage.

Desired work experience:

3 to 6 years experience.

Work experience at any Metro rail establishment is most preferable.

Education-

B.E / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Telecommunication with 65% and above
