Department Description
: - This role belongs to Customer Data Operations - Automation Team which caters to the Automation requirements across Oracle Finance Organizations. Team should understand the Finance Operations related automation project needs and develop APEX based applications along with automating MS-EXCEL related processes to Web based applications. Application developers will be involved in developing complete end to end applications which simplifies business/operational transactions that are manual in nature and provide dependency free visibility on web based technologies. The Applications Developer works in accordance with the company s software development lifecycle to develop both new and enhancements to software applications that meet business specification. Primary responsibilities include requirements analysis to gain an understanding of business needs to develop level of effort estimates, development, unit testing, code reviews and creating technical documentation. Additional responsibilities include performing system analysis, code modifications, and functional testing to troubleshoot application production issues. The ability to quickly master new technologies as needed, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a focus on delivering a high level of customer service.

As a member of the IT organization, provide testing and basic analysis of situations/data that support Oracles standard infrastructure systems.
General Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the company s development tools, and development procedures.
- Actively participate in the development and review of business and system requirements to obtain a thorough understanding of business needs in order to deliver accurate solutions.
- Develop high-quality software code in accordance with established company standards and development guidelines.
- Produce technical documentation that accurately depicts the software design & code base. The documentation needs to sufficiently assist QA testing & production support activities.
- Perform adequate UAT of own & other developers work. At a minimum, unit testing should ensure all requirements have been addressed, basic functionality works & errors are handled properly.
- Expeditiously troubleshoot application production issues that resolve the issues without causing additional problems.
- Provide updates to the Application Development Manager and Applications Architect on work in progress, work completed, and work planned, and issues potentially impacting the on time completion or quality level of work.
Technical Experience
- Hands on Database experience of PL/SQL and SQL queries
- Hands on Web technologies experience of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, AJAX, J Query
- Knowledge/Experience of Web-based application development
- Knowledge/Experience in Oracle Application Express (APEX)
Educational Qualification
M.C.A or B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology
Experience
0 to 2 years of experience in applications development, testing, implementation, and documentation of applications
Certifications
Oracle Database Certifications will be an value add
