Application System Engineer (X-ray Imaging)

As a Technical Sales Specialist at Varex Imaging, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise for X-ray imaging component solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Delivering sales presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring the installation and maintenance of company products. - Collaborating with the sales team to assess customer needs and develop detailed product specifications for customized solutions. - Working closely with R&D teams to create prototypes based on customer requirements, showcasing the feasibility of applications. - Verifying that the product applications meet specified requirements. - Serving as the primary point of contact for providing technical support to the sales team and customers. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Bachelor's / Master's degree in engineering or physics, or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of experience in designing, producing, or servicing X-ray tube assemblies or X-ray imaging equipment. - Proficiency in using business tools such as E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP software is advantageous. - Willingness to travel between 10% and 35% of the time.
