Application Support Technician

As an Application Support Technician at PrimeXM, your role will involve assisting in the deployment, maintenance, and support of PrimeXM's trading infrastructure and solutions. You will be a crucial point of contact for clients, ensuring technical and operational issues are resolved promptly to maintain smooth service delivery. In addition, you will collaborate with the weekday support team to manage weekend activities such as system upgrades, migrations, and client service requests through various communication channels. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as the initial escalation point for technical issues. - Analyze trading and pricing issues using logs, FIX messages, and diagnostic tools. - Coordinate software upgrades and migrations for PrimeXM applications. - Onboard and support clients by configuring liquidity connections, bridges/gateways, and integrations. - Troubleshoot and resolve XCore misconfiguration issues related to connectivity, order routing, aggregation, risk, and reporting. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail. - Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts efficiently. - Strong decision-making skills in time-sensitive situations. - Knowledge of the Forex market and experience with MetaTrader 4/5, FIX basics, and APIs is preferred. - Basic understanding of Networking tools like ping, tracert, telnet, etc. - Familiarity with SQL requests.
