Application Support Specialist

As an Application Support Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation, performance, and availability of Newgen applications (e.g., LMS, CMS, SRM, LOS). With over 6 years of experience in platform support, you will utilize your strong problem-solving skills to manage incidents and optimize application performance effectively. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring and supporting Newgen applications to ensure system uptime, diagnosing and resolving production issues efficiently, collaborating with development teams for long-term fixes, and enhancements, handling incident management, and conducting root cause analysis. You will also be expected to automate recurring tasks for improved support efficiency, perform regular application maintenance, patches, and updates, as well as train and support end-users across various business functions. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in application/platform support, have an in-depth understanding of Newgen enterprise platforms and modules, exhibit strong skills in SQL, log analysis, and application performance tuning, and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. An ITIL Certification would be a plus.
