Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities Monitoring Incident Management Monitor RPA bots in production to ensure stability and availability.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve bot failures, errors, and exceptions within defined SLAs. Provide first and second-level support for RPA processes (depending on role scope). Problem Resolution Root Cause Analysis Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues and propose permanent fixes. Work with RPA developers for bug fixes, enhancements, or code changes when required. Maintenance Performance Optimization Ensure scheduled bots run on time and complete successfully. Maintain RPA environments, including bot credentials, queues, and configuration settings. Optimize existing automations for better efficiency and reliability. Collaboration Documentation Collaborate with business users, RPA developers, and IT support teams for issue resolution. Document incidents, fixes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Participate in change management and release management activities. Continuous Improvement Identify automation improvement opportunities in production. Contribute to scaling, resilience, and disaster recovery of RPA platforms.Required Skills Qualifications Technical Skills Hands-on experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar). Good understanding of RPA infrastructure (Orchestrator/Control Room, Bot Runners, Queues). Proficiency in SQL queries, log analysis, and debugging. Basic knowledge of scripting (VBScript, PowerShell, Python, or .NET preferred). Support ITSM Knowledge Experience in L1/L2 application support or production support environment. Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
