Role & responsibilities

Monitor applications and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application performance, errors, and outages.
Analyze logs, SQL queries, and system alerts to identify root causes.
Provide support to users and coordinate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
Handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
Support application deployments, patches, and release activities.
Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
Follow ITIL processes and ensure compliance with change and incident management.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong understanding of application support, troubleshooting, and incident management
Hands-on experience with SQL queries and database basics
Good knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and log analysis
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
Basic scripting knowledge (Shell/Python) is a plus
Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Jira
Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Ability to work in shifts or on-call rotation (if required)
Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
Quick learner with a proactive and customer-focused approach
