Application Support Engineer

**Job Description:** As an Application Support Engineer at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. Your responsibilities will include resolving complex technical issues and collaborating closely with support teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide technical support for the service management function to resolve complex issues for specific clients or groups of clients. - Develop the support model and service offering to enhance customer service. - Execute preventative maintenance tasks on hardware and software and utilize monitoring tools to identify and address potential issues. - Maintain a knowledge base containing detailed documentation of resolved cases for future reference and knowledge sharing. - Analyze system logs, error messages, and user reports to identify root causes of hardware, software, and network issues and provide resolutions. - Proactively assess support activities, implement automations, and tune monitoring tools to ensure stability and efficiency. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience with Salesforce Administrator skills - Proficiency in UNIX/LINUX and Oracle DBA knowledge - Incident, Problem, Change experience, ideally in a support role - ITIL qualification or experience in IT application support - Familiarity with Platform as a Service (PaaS / aPaaS) - Experience with Event Management Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Elastic (ESaaS), Kibana - Previous Salesforce experience in any capacity (end user, administrator, developer) This role is based in Pune and will involve effectively monitoring and maintaining the bank's critical technology infrastructure, resolving complex technical issues, and minimizing disruptions to operations.,
