About The Role

Project Role :Application Support Engineer

Project Role Description :Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Must have skills :Data Warehouse ETL Testing

Summary:As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve software-related challenges, ensuring the smooth operation of essential applications. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze system performance, and contribute to the overall efficiency of business processes, all while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality support to users and stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

3- 7 years QA experience

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in ETL testing using ETL tools such as Informatica, Informatica Intelligent Cloud services, BDM

Proficient in writing SQL and query optimization

AWS Databricks and python basics knowledge is added advantage

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Assist in the development and implementation of testing strategies to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

Document and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architectures

Understanding of ETL concepts and data transformation processes

Review Data Models, Data Mappings, Architectural Documentation to create/execute effective Test Plans and test cases

Ability to transform complex Business logic into SQL queries

Analyze and prepare complex test data sets for executing test cases

Perform data validation and data integrity testing

Identify, document, and track defects in data workflows

Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira) and scheduling tools.

Collaborate with data engineers to resolve data quality issues

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Familiarity with the Life Sciences industry is added value

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
Qualification 15 years full time education
