Application Performance Architect

As an Application Performance Architect in Pune, your role will involve building a solid understanding of application architecture, infrastructure, and non-functional requirements. You will be responsible for identifying production workloads, troubleshooting and resolving application code issues, and technical problems across hardware, software, infrastructure, and network. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing and recommending performance improvements for cloud (GCP/Azure) and on-prem environments - Establishing and enabling golden signals for Application Health, building dashboards, identifying and establishing SLAs, setting up alerting, logging, and tracing as required - Using network profiling tools like WireShark and Fiddler for troubleshooting - Performing root cause analysis of production performance issues and recommending fixes to developers - Collaborating with other performance engineers to implement a Continuous Performance program for long-term application reliability and growth - Setting up and running automated performance tests using Docker images for load test infrastructure - Designing, scripting, configuring, and running performance tests to validate system performance and stability - Conducting performance analysis, benchmarking, and modeling to optimize system parameters and guide architectural enhancements - Actively monitoring systems in both production and non-production environments to prevent issues - Creating and maintaining Performance Test Strategy, roadmap, Automated Test data creation strategy, and Reporting strategy - Researching latest industry trends and enhancements to ensure the tech stack is up-to-date Qualifications and experience required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering - 10+ years of experience in Performance Engineering or Software Engineering - Strong understanding of Application/OS memory management, tuning databases like Mongo DB or other NOSQL databases - Experience in conducting Performance tests and working knowledge of Chaos engineering - Working knowledge of Python, .NET, and SQL is a plus - Experience with industry standard tools like LoadRunner, Neoload, JMeter, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, and DB monitoring tools - Good work experience in Agile/Scrum development projects in a distributed environment - Leadership skills including mentoring, coaching, and training abilities - Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision This opportunity will allow you to apply your expertise in performance engineering to drive the reliability and growth of applications effectively.,
