Must have skills : Cobol Mainframe Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and providing technical guidance to the team. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and overseeing the development process. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the project. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. Lead the design and development of applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. Oversee the development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements to enhance application performance and functionality. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe. Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. Experience in designing and developing applications using Cobol Mainframe. Knowledge of database concepts and SQL. Experience with version control systems and bug tracking tools. Good To Have Skills:Experience with Java and web development frameworks. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe. This position is based at our Chennai office. A 15 years full-time education is required. Qualifications 15 years full time education
