Application Engineer

You will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Additionally, experience in coding in APEX and working with configuration and custom development in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) modules in Salesforce (SFDC) is required. Certification in Salesforce Platform Developer (I or II) is preferred. Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, or Ajax, along with Web Services (RESTful, SOAP) is a plus. Familiarity with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Apex, integration patterns, and scaling the Salesforce platform is advantageous. Experience in Application Development, API Design, API Development, JavaScript, System Integration, Agile Software Development, and Technical Design is desired. Knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle is also beneficial. As a member of the Business Systems Integration team at Google, you will be tasked with identifying and addressing time-consuming internal processes to facilitate progress. You will translate Googler needs into technical specifications, design systems, and collaborate with executives for implementation. The team's goal is to develop reliable and scalable solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity for Googlers. The Core team at Google is responsible for building the technical foundation of flagship products, developer platforms, and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and sustaining business applications using a variety of technologies, including the Salesforce platform. Collaboration with business and operations teams to define features, evaluate priorities, and work with engineering teams for system integrations will be part of your responsibilities.
