Application Engineer for Siemens (Pre & Post Sales Support)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing post-sales support for Solid Edge and NX, working within a team to offer telephone and remote technical support to engineering companies. Your excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to follow through, are essential. Additionally, you will be delivering classroom-based product training and supporting customers and internal staff with technical queries face to face, by telephone, and via email. It is crucial to be an ambassador during all customer interactions and act as a role model for behaviors that will cultivate a truly service-oriented business. You may also participate in Company projects as and when required and carry out any other ad-hoc duties within your capabilities that are relevant to the job and reasonably requested by your manager. Key Responsibilities: - Provide post-sales support for Solid Edge and NX - Offer telephone and remote technical support to engineering companies - Deliver classroom-based product training - Support customers and internal staff with technical queries - Act as an ambassador during customer interactions - Participate in Company projects as required - Perform any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the job as requested by your manager Qualification Required: - Ideally, a minimum of 1.5 to 2 years in Tech Support - Degree qualified, preferably a BEng or BSc in a mechanical or technical subject - Candidates with previous Pre-Post Technical experience in CAD-CAM would be preferred Additional Details: Applicants are welcome from either a Design background or a Technical Consultants background.
