Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Act as the in-house technical expert for

    Granulators, Conveyors, and System Solutions

    used in

    Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, and Extrusion

    applications.
  • Provide strong technical support to the sales team by preparing

    presentations, proposals, and technical documentation

    , and resolving complex customer queries.
  • Understand customer application requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, and recommend the most suitable products or system solutions.
  • Conduct

    trials and testing

    at the company shop floor or at customer locations to evaluate materials, processes, and equipment performance.
  • Analyze product performance at customer sites, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions to

    reduce scrap, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity

    .
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry advancements in plastics processing and automation.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of

    service engineers and technicians

    , ensuring high-quality service delivery and fostering their professional development.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Production, Sales, Service) to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Support commissioning, installation, and training activities at customer sites as required.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education:

    B.Tech/B.E. in Plastics Engineering, Robotics & Automation, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience:

    5-12 years of experience in plastics processing, automation systems, or industrial equipment (granulators, conveyors, material handling systems, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of

    injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion processes

    , and related automation solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in conducting trials, troubleshooting equipment, and improving process performance.
  • Excellent technical understanding and ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and process parameters.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for customer interactions and sales support.
  • Ability to lead, guide, and mentor a team of service engineers and technicians.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for trials, installations, and support activities.
